#1 Waiver/Phillips dropped = no brainer right?

Postby mdgoalie » Sun May 03, 2009 10:19 pm

EDIT --- I am giving up Guerrero for another person's #1 waiver spot, which I would use to take Phillips. Sorry I forgot to make that clear.

I have the number 1 waiver priority (I am giving up Guerrero for it) in an 8 team H2H league

Who would you rather have for the rest of the year? Guerrero or Phillips

What do you envision his final line to look like at the end of the year?

I have Hill in my MI spot but I figure I could move him while he has a lot of value and slot Phillips in there or just put one in the Utility spot.

8 Team H2H - HR, R, RBI, SB, TB, OBP x W, K, ERA, WHIP, Saves, QS

My Team - everyone listed that is not on the bench is in a starters spot
C: Sandoval
1B: Pujols
2B: Utley
SS: JHardy
3B: Cantu
MI: Hill
CI: Dunn
OF: Kemp, Holliday, Ellsbury, Abreu, Ethier, Dukes
Util: Davis, Bruce
SP: Lincecum, Halladay, Gallardo, Greinke, Vazquez, Hughes
RP: Broxton, FFrancisco, Hoffman

Bench: Fowler, JUpton, SDrew, Lowell
DL: Guerrero, Carpenter

Thanks ;-D

I would use the #1 waiver. I am a Phillips owner too and I have been frustrated. I believe he will bounce back. I think he is good for 275avg. ,20-25hrs, 20-25sb.

Please help me!

You have to do it. Phillips will be a nice upgrade over Hardy.

Return the favor plz - viewtopic.php?t=382693

Yes, use it. Then see if you can deal Hardy and Hill for a better SS.
