Well, it is difficult to make a clear evaluation without seeing your whole roster, but in general, even if Rios and Suzuki give you everything Hanley gives you (an for what it is worth I disagree with that analysis) that is still requiring two lineup spots to get the same production you can now get with one spot. I don't see that as necessarily better.

I would not even consider Parting with Hanly for Rios. As far as Suzuki goes , I agree that he has value but HE"S A SLAP-BALL CATCHER. I don't even consider him or Tejada who wont put up half the RBI and Runs l as HAN RAM. Tejada iand susuki are great players for their position but as far as studs go...... and that doesn't even bring into the equation Hawpe. (2nd tier outfielder)
I see you sacrificing way more points in this trade than you are getting back. Maybe Im wrong but thats how i see it.
i think he means ichiro and not the catcher from oakland lol
even with ichiro i still dont think its enough in return for what u gave up
hanley will pick it up and show everyone that he is the consensus number 2 overall pick......rios is overrated and is no better than say a vernon wells...ichiro is getting one year older and his sbs are on the decline.......tejada isnt worth much this year and is often dropped in leagues. hawpe is a solid hitter and very startable....i think u lost pretty big on this trade.
now if it is the catcher from the a's then u just got raped
I have no room for Hawpe any way, I have Hamilton, Ichiro, Rios in my OF, and Arod as my UTIL player, so Hawpe is tradable. I also have Murphy, who I like more any way.
I get three very solid guys, for Hanley. Even though Hanley is great, he does not produce enough RBIs, and that is a stat that I am looking for.

LOL < I appologize for being so dense on that one. LOL I'm from Oakland but that is no excuse to make that assumption.
OK , now thats a different trade all toether. I still wouldnt take it. Even hanely can not match the numbers of 3 solid players but Hawpe also. you say you need rbi. Well I dont see those 3 guys bringing a ton of Rbi, compared to what u have. I might hold Hanely especially with him batting 4th . I predict 135Rbi from the young stud. (not to mention Hawpe) another (another 125rbi)
I feel like Rios , and Tejada (Astros being lowest scoring team all MLB as of today) , and "Ichiro" (Seatle ) would not be a wise trade for you. I would propose selling Hawpe by himself. See what you can get for him before you have to drop him. I hope I wasn't too confusing and I wish you best of luck either way you decide to go.
The other owner is still hung over from his celebration of getting Hanley. You didn't get nearly enough for him. Even if you don't need a player you can't trade them away for garbage. Get value in return.
