i am in negotiations to try and get johan to upgrade my pitching staff i first offered Ad. Gonzalez/Volstad/Floyd for Johan/B.J. Upton he then countered with Hamilton/Ad. Gonzalez/Laffey for B.J. Upton/Johan which i feel is not an acceptable trade now im trying to think of a good trade to recounter with our rosters are as follows

Santana seems to be his only good pitcher. Maybe you can offer Gonzo and two other pitchers.

Can you get around trading AGon? Maybe Berkman, you are locked and loaded on your bench, you could trade Magglio. I would try Berkman/Floyd/Volstadt maybe for Johan and a lesser ranked OF(i also dont like BJ much this season I sold high on his ranking)

He really needs a 1B so I would insist on dealing Berkman. Why aren't you going after Price?
