Justin Upton getting hot, necessary to make room for him?

Postby DAYS » Sat May 02, 2009 9:40 pm

J. Upton is available on wire due to its owner's impatience in April. Now that he's got it going with a hit streak, i think its time that he starts to produce and be roster spot worthy. However, I'm having a dilemma over whether or not that I should make room for Upton. I just traded Mike Cameron for Tulowitzki [pending] so i can spare Asdrubal Cabrera. My original plan was to start Cabrera, who is hitting extremely well in the 2 hole between Sizemore & V-Mart and wait until Tulo works out of his slump [im very high on tulo this season]. So by looking at my roster at the moment, should I consider making room for Upton?

I'd drop Reynolds for him for sure.

I'd drop Cabrera for Upton. Upton will be very streaky, but when he's hot he's nice to own. It's looking as if now is the time...at least for awhile.
