Should I pick up Nolasco with the #3 waiver spot? It is a normal 5X5 league except we keep track of hits and QS.
Here is my team.
C. A.J. Pierzynski
1B Joey Votto
2B Brian Roberts
3B Evan Longoria
SS Orlando Cabrera
OF Ryan Ludwick
OF Ryan Braun
OF Matt Holliday
Util Shin-Soo Choo
Util Jim Thome
BN Nate McLouth
DL Stephen Drew
SP Joe Saunders
SP Rich Harden
SP Derek Lowe
SP Bobby Jenks
RP Trevor Hoffman
BN Troy Percival
BN Francisco Liriano
BN John Danks
BN Scott Baker
DL Brandon Morrow
What do you think of my team? Should I pick up Nolasco with my #3 waiver?

I absolutely would, Nolasco is going to turn it around and he hasn't been HORRIBLE in any of his starts. He's worth a #3 waiver. Drop Bannister.
Here's mine:

Agree with the previous poster, not a question. Bannister gets dumped for Nolasco in a heartbeat.
Help with mine:

Bannister is my spot starter spot. This isn't about upgrading from Banister to Nolasco, it's about whether nolasco is worth the #3 waiver or not.... I want to make sure everyone knows that.

How many teams and what are your waiver rules?
If someone goes on waivers only when another team drops him, yes, yes, yes.
If someone goes on waivers if they are brought up from the Minor Leagues, I still think I'd do it, but I might think before pulling the trigger.

Good question by the previous poster. If guys can be claimed on waivers when they are brought up from the minors, I'd wait for Price and Hanson. If no chance of getting them, then I think I'd use the #3 on Nolasco. He's not this bad of a pitcher.
Please help with my post

It is a "drop only" waiver rule. Minor leaguers simly become available.
Thank you all for help, I'll put in the claim. I'll help you all, too.
Any news as to Hanson or Beckham?
