Which pitchers? WHIR

Looking to pick up and start 1 or 2 of these pitchers in an AL-Only League (currently starting Morrow and Purcey):

Vincente Padilla - @ Sea, @ cws
Adam Eaton - @ tb, v. nyy
Mark Hendrickson - v. min, v. tb
Sidney Ponson - v. sea, @ oak
Jeff Niemann - @ nyy, @ bal
Brad Bergesen - v. min, v. tb
Anthony Ortega - @ oak, v. kc

I think Niemann is my top choice, with Bergesen and Ortega being the choices for #2. Do others agree? disagree?

I think I would go w/ Ortega & Bergesen - not really loving Niemann's match-ups away from home.

Yikes, not an appealing selection, but Ortega has the best matchups. I guess I'd roll with him.

Based on matchups...I'd go with Ortega. Don't really like any of the other guys because they have touch matchups.

What would be the pick for longer term?

Ortega does have the best matchups. But remember he should really be the Angels #3 or #4 starter....in AAA But injuries have pushed him into service and young Angels pitchers have a history of pitching well when they have their first callups like this. Ervin Santana was like this in 2005 and Saunders a couple years ago is another example. Also, the Angels bullpen may cough up a win for you, the way they've been going lately blowing leads.

Longer term, Niemann is my choice.
