10 team shallow bench Roto. Start: 13 Hitters, 9 Pitchers (any with 200 starts allowed), 3 Bench, 1 DL
I traded: 3B Mike Lowell, RP Ryan Franklin, RP Scott Downs I received: 3B Evan Longoria, RP David Aardsma (probably just cut)
In two days I am thinking of grabbing Hawkins and Beimel to replenish my closers.
My Roster: (was)
C - Joe Mauer 1B - Mark Texeira 2B - Aaron Hill SS - Rafeal Furcal 3B - Chipper Jones MI - Jose Lopez CI - Russel Branyan OF - Carl Crawford OF - Curtis Granderson OF - Cory Hart OF - Jason Werth OF - Pat Burrell Util - Mike Lowell BN - A-Rod
P - Linsecum P - Harden P - Sanchez P - Hughes P - B. Wilson P - Scott Downs P - Ryan Franklin P - Jenks P - Gregg BN - Weaver BN - Dempster DL - Valverde
And Friesan Fire and I Want Revenge are going to finish 1-2 in the Kentucky Derby...
Wait a minute....
Come on...seriously? Two closers (and not even elite closers) plus a good but not great Lowell for a truly superb Longoria and an Aardsma that is also a potential closer...
BTW , would you ask your friend if he would like to join my league???
P.S. You must promise me u wont even think about trading Evan for anything less than Pujols, or Babe Ruth! plus a Closer.
Well done, but next time though ask the cafe their opinion about the trade before you commit to anything you are not sure of. Also dont ever let them pressure you to trading before checking with us. It's a tactic that screams "Run away from this trade!". I usually think on it a week before deciding on any trade between owners.
Also I think your team looks very strong my friend. Dont change too much
All three of the guys you traded are potential waiver wire fodder, and you landed a Top-20 overall player and a short-term closer? Wow! That's a GREAT trade for you.
