C: Lo Duca
1b: Sexson, backup: Mo Vaughn (tryin to move)
2b: Durham (acquired via trade)
3b: Hinske
SS:Jose Hernandez
OF:Vlad (acquired via trade)
OF:Larry Walker
OF:Jose Cruz Jr.
U: Cedeno/M.Vaughn (maybe they'll show up)

SP: Wood, Glavine, Burnett, Wade Miller, Brian Lawrence, Johan Santana, Oliver Perez, Contreras (whats up with this guy?)

RP: Benitez, Jorge Julio, Williamson..

I traded Halladay and Beltran for Wade Miller and Vlad..
I traded Berkman and Adam Kennedy for Durham and Glavine

I think the trades were outstanding for what I needed..
am I weak in any one area?

Thanks guys..

You need good output from Julio and Williamson but your team looks great, Jose Cruz could be a weak point or a member of a great outfield, depending on his season.

Contreras could be a huge steal, Lawrence and Santana could be middle-of-the-pack or very good but it won't matter, you have a great team.

If everything (or almost everthing) pans out, you should have a shot at winning the championship this year! ;-D

I don't really think that your team is all that great
I would tend to think that my team whcih is posted right below your post under nugg1785 is a lot better

i like your team. looks pretty strong. just need to upgrade your RP and/or Uti spot. as far as Nugg thinking he has a "much better team", i laugh at that. the only thing he has better is a closer.

i think u should drop Contreras. he will not be the yankees 5th starter becuz he is doin terrible. if weaver is available u might want to pick him up the FA pool.

The Vladi trade was a steal for you. Don't think you got enough back in the Berkman trade though.

And Contreras is stinking it up so far in spring training so off to the bullpen for him (at least for the beginning of the season). I don't think it is a good sign for him to be so bad so early. Unknown and highly touted pitchers should usually have some success against hitters who have never seen him.
