who to drop? potential trade victim?! whir

Postby ruud83 » Sat May 02, 2009 8:00 am

my team right now looks like this and i´m pretty good right now sitting at 2-1...this week might be a w again...h2h 10 team 8 keeper:

c ianetta
1b pujols
2b hill
ss ramirez
3b davies
of braun
of lee
of bay
util fielder
util adam jones

bn andrus
bn hardy
bn rios

sp baker
sp parra
sp kershaw
sp cueto
sp perkins
sp lilly
sp r.zimmermann
sp pelfrey
sp floyd

rp broxton
rp downs
rp gonzalez
rp arredondo

ml rasmus
ml matusz
ml cahill

so here is the problem i would like to pick matt gamel from the ww....who to drop?

what might be even better is a trade, where i could get a better sp then i already have, who would you guys trade for lets say lester or verlander?! e.g. 2 players for lester or verlander so one roster spot is empty and i could pick up gamel and maybe activate rasmus or cahill from my ml spots and stash gamel there until he´s going to be called up...

what do you guys think?

Just dump Pelfrey for him and be done with it!

I agree pitching is about all you need. Go low ball on Webb or make a solid offer for a true innings eating horse like Halladay.

agree with dropping pelphrey.

Look to trade Fielder for an ace pitcher and depth on the bench.

so would one of these trades sound fair to you:

fielder for either lackey/zambrano/verlander/lester

i´m leaning towards lackey...might be the safest pick...well rested and pretty consistent...
