Martin and Thome for 2 closers? ALL HELP RETURNED

Postby kaiser » Fri May 01, 2009 10:33 pm

10 team H2H keeper mixed

I give Mike Napoli, Fernando Rodney, Brad Zeigler and Gavin Floyd

I get Russell Martin and Jim Thome

My remaining closers are Mariano Rivera, Heath Bell and Mike Gonzalez.

Do I do it?

I like the idea for trading for Russ, but you'd be giving up a lot for someone like Thome. who else does he have to target?

I agree, Martin is a nice addition but can you get another player besides Thome

The second deal would be a great move for you.

With 5 closers? Yes that's a solid deal but Martin's so far lack of power/SB worries me.
