In fact, maybe now, or soon, would be the time to buy low on him. Not only does he always struggle in April, but he is also bound to improve once A-rod gets into the lineup.
Tex is very famous for being a slow starter... most experienced fantasy leaguers draft him knowing that they're gonna take their lumps with the guy in April, but reap the rewards tenfold as the season progresses.
I don't see why this year would bring anything different. Dude is also only around 28-29 years old, so he's still in his prime. He'll get in a groove, I guarantee it.
No offense to anyone on this site, but how many years do baseball fans have to go through before they realize there are 162 games, not 30? I get a kick out of Subject lines that start with "time to drop...." looking for names like Teixera, BJ Upton, Cliff Lee, CC, and maybe even Hanley Ramirez at some point. Do any of you really think that barring injury, players of that caliber just plain forgot how to play?
I hope people keep thinking like this, because I'll keep making trades with them and winning leagues.

Well if your referring to the people who replied, we were all being sarcastic. Obviously this topic is rediculous but some people just dont know a lot about baseball or this could be their first time playing fantasy and there aint nothing wrong with that
