Couple of Questions... WHIR!!!

Postby mayfijr » Fri May 01, 2009 12:33 am

1. Sandoval or Carlos Guillen? Who would you rather have for this year only? In my league both have 1st and 3rd base eligibility. Sandoval does not have Catcher eligibility.

2. I currently have Iannetta and Matt Weiters. Should I hold on to Weiters, or will Iannetta turn it around and be a good enough option?

3. I have Tulo. Stephen Drew is on waivers. Should I keep Tulo or pick up Drew?

1. Sandoval is a clear choice, he'll get his C eligibility eventually.
2. Keep 'em both. drop Ianetta when weiters gets the call
3. Keep Tulo. Hes a notoriously slow starter and will turn it around. Drews not a bad pick and stash though if you have a DL spot available.

1. Sandoval easily
2. Ianetta will be a fine C option for the year so if you can bait someone into giving up quality guys for Wieters go for it, def don't drop Wieters.
3. Can't go wrong by stashing S Drew as insurance, assuming you have someone other than Tulo to drop for him.

;-D

Wish I could add something new, but I agree completely with this opinion.
