Baseball America always projected him to be the heir to BJ Ryan and I agree, the guy would be better off as the closer since his real plus pitches are the fastball and the slider.

The Jays have no plans to use him as a reliever.

wow, i just looked it up and the A's are OPSing .583 against lefties... makes their .704 mark against righties look monstrous.
