Does anyone think this he has the potential to be a top 5 third baseman at the end of this year

Sure he has the potential, ARod missing the first month and Chipper already going through an injury doesn't hurt his chances thats for sure.

He's looking really good. Great spot with N. Johnson always getting on base in front of him and Dunn behind him.

I think so given the current crop of 3B's, at the beginning of the season I was deciding between Alex Gordon and Zimmerman as breakout candidates, I chose Gordon, and now I am kicking myself, at least Gordon has something in common with AROD now lol
