Trade help Reyes/Holliday for Kinsler/McLouth... WHIR

Postby killerbeez » Thu Apr 30, 2009 9:13 am

12 team 5x5 h2h keeper league

Reyes and Holliday are both off to slow starts but this was just offered to me and I'm really thinking about pulling the trigger. I have Aaron Hill to fill Kinsler's void if i do make the trade but he's not Kinsler but I do need a SS. And I think I have a pretty good OF to part with McLouth's speed. Would Reyes and Holliday make my lineup better than keeping Kinsler and McLouth?? Help me make this decision.

My Roster:

C - Mike Napoli
1B - Albert Pujols
2B - Ian Kinsler
3B - Aubrey Huff
SS - Asdrubal Cabrera
OF - Manny Ramirez
OF - Nate McLouth
OF - Shane Victorino
Util - Aaron Hill
Bn - Justin Upton, Chris Young, Brandon Wood

Thanks to all who reply

I think your lineup is better now than it would be after the trade. The only possible concern you have is Kinsler getting injured. When he does play though, I like him more than Reyes.

I do like Asdrubal Cabrera as well in the SS slot.

don't do this trade. you don't sell low on players while at the same time buying high on others. just silly. reyes will be close to kinsler at the end of the year.

help with mine?

i dont really see much reason for you to do this trade. kinsler has turned into a bonafide stud. also, mclouth is an above average player and now that holliday is out of colorado he seems to be a merely average player. if its steals ur looking to acquire with reyes i dont think thats necessary since mclouth and victorino are solid sources of sb's already on ur roster

would appreciate some help:
