I remember picking up braun a few years ago right when he came up, and he put my team over the top and carried me to the finals. I was wondering what players would be worthy of a roster spot, in the event they get called up and do work. I understand this is a very hard question to answer, but with my team slumping hard right now( Matt Holliday,JJ Hardy, Ortiz, Vlad(DL)) I am willing to take a shot on one of these youngsters.
I understand Laporta is doing very well, but I was wondering if you guys had heard some other names flying around. I also looked at AAA stats real quick and saw Matt Gamel 7 hr , 26 rbi, 394avg.

i don't understand why people keep asking this..................
What don't you understand?
Yes, the question was phrased wrong, but I'm confident everyone knows what he meant. Will there be a player to make an impact this season as a rookie by posting similar numbers to that of Braun in his rookie year?
OP - in answer to your question I think Wieters and LaPorta will have a good year, but I doubt they'll have the same impact Braun did...

Definitely a poorly worded question. Understand this, what Braun did as a rookie was without precedent. Some rookies will come up and give you good value initially but taper off as scouting reports make their rounds (Jay Bruce).
