Do I Have to Accept This? WHIR

Postby marc1313 » Thu Apr 30, 2009 1:04 am

12 team 7 X 7 Roto nonkeeper
Hitting: R,HR,RBI,SB,AVG,SLG,K,
Pitching: W,SV,ERA,WHIP,K,IP,Holds

I say no. I agree it would benefit you to deal a SP, but I like Gonzalez a lot better than Berkman.

I would try sell high on Wandy Rodriguez, or move Billingsley and Iwamura for a 2B upgrade, but keep A-Gonz

I would not do the trade.

AGon is playing great and will end up better than Berkman this year. Roberts is a good 2nd but Billingsley is an elite SP. I think you would be giving up too much.

agree with the others, dont do it. it's an even deal, but i think youd be better off keeping bills.

Big no to this trade as well. You're giving up way too much. Adrian isn't too far away from Berkman and could realistically have a better season.

some of these guys miss the point: agonz already has 8 bombs. berkman hasn't done jack. unless you think berkman will end the season with only 285-25-90, then he will very likely perform as good as if not better than Agonz FROM HERE ON OUT. I guess you're assuming the other guy values Agonz more than Berkman at this point (funny how 3 weeks in a season can completely change draft perspective) otherwise that wouldn't even net you anything.

Still, i understand your reluctance to trade either Agonz or Bills.

You def need to upgrade you 2b and roberts is a nice target. Iwamura sucks ass. You can try Chipper striaght up or even sell high on wandy and try Wandy and Chipper for Roberts alone.

Personally, I'd take Berkman over Agonz from hear on out for the rest of the saeason. Berkman has a track record like few others and will mash for a prolonged period when he gets hot.

help with mine?
