Kearns definitely. I wouldn't even draft Dunn at all.
I agree, Dunn absolutely killed me last year, never knew when to play him or bench him, won't be taking him this year.
I had both last year (it was a bad year), and Dunn singlehandedly killed my BA. I don't think I could ever draft Dunn again, but I'd be happy to pick up Kearns in the mid-late rounds
Bluto: Over? Did you say over? NOTHING is over until WE decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? HELL, NO!
Otter: Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.
If you are in a league that uses OBP instead of BA, then you might consider Dunn.
"The game has a cleanness. If you do a good job, the numbers say so. You don't have to ask anyone or play politics. You don't have to wait for the reviews." - Sandy Koufax
The problem with Dunn is that he's got a hole a mile wide in his swing. He strikes out all day long. If anybody knows any high strikeout guys who were able to cut their K #'s down to where they were just average in strikeouts, let me know because I'm curious.
Currently Dunn looks like the 2004 version of Dave Kingman or Jack Clark. But things have changed. There are so many guys that hit for power these days that hitting 35 jacks and batting .240 really isn't all that great. Dunn's in dire need of a good, patient hitting coach.
