I've seen the doomsday stats from last year (though his 2007 numbers were excellent), but he has been fantastic in the first month. 7-for-7 in save opportunities. Hasn't allowed a run. Hardly allowed any baserunners. 9:2 K/BB.
I think it's all about the giant Jeff Bagwell beard.
