Is there collusion? If not then the answer is no.

The guy getting Wright and Hamels is getting a deal if Hamels is not hurt, but let it go.

That is about as close as I can imagine...but I never like vetoing trades, and if there is no collusion, I wouldn't do it. But Wright and Hamels (as long as Hamels pitches for the rest of the year and doesn't miss more than one start) are the two best players. If Hamels is hurt, then the best player is Wright, then the next three are the best players....

Hmmmm. There's no bigger opponent then vetoing trades then me.... If theres no cheating, it shouldn't even be an option. That said....this is pretty bad. Definitely would throw the competitive balance off in a league, and if I was another team, I'd be none too pleased. I would certainly demand an explanation from the team taking the (very) short end....i.e. why did you make this trade? In what way does it make your team better? If no reasonable answer was forthcoming, I might then call for a veto and lock/ban of the idiot manager. Trades like this really ruin it for everyone else.
