A dozen third basemen to choose from....

Postby Sekrah » Wed Apr 29, 2009 8:22 pm

I've had it with Edwin Encarnacion. I actually had high hopes with him comign into this year, but he has been hideously awful.. and now on teh DL with a wrist injury, this is shaping up to be an awful year for him.. Maybe I'll try again with him next year.

For now though, I need a third basemen.. which of these would you choose from.

This is a 10-team points league with no bench spots, no DL spots. You have two guys for each infield position, my other 3B is Kouzmanoff. Your entire roster plays everyday. If you need to know the points system, I'll dredge it up for you, but it plays very much like a 5x5 league except that stolen bases are not that important in this (compared to their importance in a 5x5).

Melvin Mora
Joe Crede
Casey Blake
Ian Stewart
Chase Headley
Josh Fields
Mark Teahan
Mike Fontenot
Ty Wiggington
Bill Hall
Russell Branyan
Pedro Feliz

Or anyone else I might be missing?

Id go ahead and drop EEncarnacion. He always disappoints.

I would consider dropping Kouzmanoff also.

Here are my top 2:
Melvin Mora (in a great lineup, and had a great 2nd half last year)
Ian Stewart (He has been getting steady time and can rake)

I hope this helps. Help Me? viewtopic.php?f=26&t=381836&p=3054585#p3054585
