(social anxiety disorder) had his second consecutive encouraging outing Sunday in Double-A. He went six strong, allowing just three hits and two runs. He did walk three, but he struck out six. Through two rehab starts, Willis is 1-1 with a 4.15 ERA and a .239 batting-average against.

Willis might get another rehab start and could be a candidate to return thereafter. Stash on DL spots in deeper leagues just in case you can catch lightning in a bottle. Willis was once one of the most talented pitchers in baseball and the signs are promising of late


Well, I'm a sucker and there is nothing on my waiver wire in my 14 team league so I took a flier and stashed on my DL. We'll see!

After losing Dice K , Carp, Kuroda and Hamels being iffy I am desperate to catch lightning in a bottle! Picked him up and keeping fingers crossed!

I have had him in a DL spot since he landed on the DL. First start wasn't so good, if he builds off the 2nd start, who knows he may be roster worthy in a 12 teamer for the first time in years. But don't expect him to be in the rotation right away when he returns. All signs point to long relief at first.
