Is is time to drop Baker for....WHIR

Postby bossoaks » Wed Apr 29, 2009 4:44 pm

I'm in a 10 team H2H Keeper league. There are a couple of teams that are looking to make pitcher moves and haven't done it yet (they are cheap and it cost $3). I have Baker as my bench pitcher right now waiting on him to shake the funk. Was wondering if I should grab Wandy Rodriguez ro Phil Hughes in his place before someone else does. I'm worried Wang will come back and Hughes will go back down though. Granted he might come back later in the year.

Opinions??

I would take Hughes or Wandy over Baker.........personally I like Hughes the best out of the bunch.

I like Wandy. Hes consistent and continues to carry last years success into this year.

Not a fan of Hughes in the AL East and in general. It was just one game he pitched, you have to wait another outing to me before even considering Hughes.

I would definitely pick up Wandy as I can't see him being a FA too long. I would try to hold on to Baker a little longer if at all possible though. I still believe he'll come around.

i would grab Wandy in a heartbeat. I do believe Baker is going to put up good numbers though. Maurer is on the way back and Baker should find his groove with Maurer calling his games and more time healed. Baker or Wandy and u r good.
