Give Reyes/Votto for Teixeira/Markakis? WHIR!

Need some help with this one guys. I have S. Drew on the bench to replace Reyes.

I get:
M. Teixeira
N. Markakis

Here's what my starting lineup would look like if I do the trade:

SS Stephen Drew
OF Manny Ramírez
OF Nick Markakis
OF Álex Ríos

It's a tough call since you are giving up the most valuable player in the deal, Reyes. Unless Abreu keeps up this stolen base spree and swipes 80 bases this year, you are going to really miss Reyes' speed. I'm not a big Stephen Drew fan, I think there is a lot of risk involved with him plus he is coming off an injury. However if you are comfortable with him being your starting SS over Reyes and think you can handle the missing stolen bases its a very interesting trade. Markakis is terrific I have been a fan of his for years, and Tex is Tex, one of the best hitters in baseball who will have a monster season, (notoriously slow starter.) If you are willing to punt steals do it, if not than stay put.

I'm not sure I like the trade. Even if you think there is a significant gap between Votto and Markakis (I don't) I feel like you should be able to get more, based on Votto's hot start. Can you offer him a slighting worse corner infielder?
