Advice on this staff

5x5 H2H 12 teams.

Beckett
Oswalt
Wolf
Webb
Dotel
Rhodes
Wickman

I'm planning on dropping Wickman for Nen. My hitting is awesome and even if I trade some for pitching, it will still dominate the rest of the league. A lot of the teams in the league are opting for quantity rather than quality, so I'd thought I'd do the opposite. How many pitchers should I add to make this staff top notch?

I'd want an elite pitcher, and another solid starter.

Agree with dropping Wickman, I don't like Nen much this year, but he's certainly worth taking a chance on from the waiver wire.

I just got Santana. Does that make it look any better?

wow, santana makes a huge addition to an already solid staff. What did you trade for him?

If this is a standard yahoo league with the standard stats I always tried to have about 7 starters. You have a very good 1-5 as long as beckett or oswalt dont get hurt. There are probably guys on the waiver wires that could help your team, can you list out which SPs are available?

Santana just made your pitching great, he is going to be a good second starter in most fantasy leagues! To get him of waivers is amazing! Great Pickup! ;-D

Santana makes your staff look good enough to help you compete every week. I assume your hitting is pretty good considering the small amount of pitching you have. You should do well.

I traded Marcus Giles for him. I already had Kent so there wasn't much sense hanging on to him. There are some pitchers I'm considering picking up off of waivers. Here's a small list:

Eaton
Redding
J. Seo
J. Williams

Only problem is I'd have to drop Eric Hinske, unless I wanted to drop Wickman and only have 2 closers.

I like Jerome the most out of them, but it would be really tough to part with Hinske.

I'll see about doing a 2 for 1 or something to free up a spot without me having to drop a good player. I'm probably the only one looking at Jerome, so I have some time.
