Ok i got this counter offer. Im seriously thinking of pulling the trigger... I picked up Bartlett on WW and Grinke cant keep this streak up. i know he is a stud but i have plent of pitching behind him.. (J. Shield, WRod, Roy Halladay, Roy Oswalt, Gil Meche, and John Lackey) Im putting Young in the 3B spot, replacing Beltre. My SS now is Jeter.
We all had this conversation last year about Lee and how he would NEVER hold up all season, I believe Grinke more this year then Lee last year,, DONT DO IT
If there is baseball in heaven!!!! Be very aware of the starting lineup

How can you can you compare players 5 years apart in age? Not to mention Cliff Lee's drastic improvement 6.29 era in 2007 to a 2.54 last season.
Greinke was a very good pitcher last season, so it's not like he's coming out of no where. The guy had a 3.47 era with over 180 k's.

This was just a silly comment.
My "Silly" comment was in response to the first post, where he said he didnt think Grienke could hold up for the full year,,, whats silly about my comment? I made no comparison to anyone I referred to Lees' incredible year and how we all were doubters of him making a full year at that level, just like all Greinkes doubters this year

Those who believe Lee would falter was based solely off of his track record. What are you basing Greinke's off of? Based off his previous MLB experience it seems as though he's improving every year.
