Troy Tulowitski dropped! WHIR

Postby cobbs87 » Wed Apr 29, 2009 11:30 am

I have the number 1 waiver. This is a 14 team keeper league. Roto 6x6. Holds and OPS.

Not only do I not need Tulo in any way, but I don't think I have anyone to drop for him. Help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do you guys see Tulo rebounding? I obviously need pitching, so is there any move anyone can think of that would net me some help in that area?

I dont see any reason you need Tulo. I do, however, see him getting better as the year goes on. He typically starts slowly.
Id say your greatest depth is in the OF, but you also have a ton of power on your team, so maybe oving some HR for pitching would be good. Its hard to say without knowing who is available in your league, but you can ususalyy find someone at 1B, 3B, and sometimes 2B. Any of the guys you have at these positions will clearly land you a great SP or 2.

Micah Hoffpauir will not be more valuable than Tulo this year, drop him for Tulo ,Furcal is gonna hit .270 this yr with 20 SBs, I'm sure you are expecting more than that and Tulo will help at some point.

I'll have to disagree with ayebatter since this is a #1 waiver. I don't think Micah will be any better than Troy, but I don't see why you can't hold out a little longer for someone less risky.
