Excited to watch the Tigers on TV tonight since I don't live in the area anymore... Let's see what Porcello looks like.

I know it's an extremely small sample size, but Porcello has had his struggles against left handed hitters so far. I'm interested to see what he does tonight against a lineup that features Jeter followed by 8 lefties.
On another note, it still stings that he didn't drop a couple more spots in the draft to the Yankees. I'd love to have him.

joba needs to settle down and find the strikezone. if he continues to struggle with walks, he's going to find himself back in the bullpen to save girardi's job. i know there has been absolutely no mention of it by the yanks that he could be back in the pen, but with hughes fantastic game last night, joba in the 8th inning may be one move that would help the yanks short-term and save girardi his job. i hope joba stays in the rotation because he has big time potential but the yanks are bountiful with rotation arms and lacking quality BP arms. joba needs a big night.

Gee golly, I guess the Tigers should move Porcello to the bullpen.

Short term? Until Wang shows he can get his ERA under 30 or Ian Kennedy does just as good as Hughes did they are keeping Joba in the rotation. That's 2 weeks away the earliest.

Get your logic out of this topic. Joba should pitch the 8th, CC the 7th and AJ the 6th. 5 inning game!!!!1111 Who cares if you have Kei Igawa, Ian Kennedy and Alfredo Aceves in your rotation, a game is NEVER lost in the first 5 innings.

i 100% agree with you guys...joba belongs in the rotation because his talent would be wasted as a setup man. i was just simply stating what many people have been saying. i very much hope that joba never goes to the pen because i have him in 2 dynasty leagues.
but back on the game topic...joba has settled down and is mowing down the tigers.
