Fail... the way theyve been hitting they probably should have put in a PR for Prince, tried for a steal, then sac-ed in a run.

God knows they need the insurance... I know he had 116 pitches, but Gallardo was probably still a much better bet to finish this out :(

anyone know why Villy? Maybe keeping Hoffman from playing 2 days in a row until he is stronger?

Was that announced at some point? Thought maybe they didn't want 3 days in a row because he just got off the DL, but sounds like you are saying it will be that way all year.

He certainly won't do 3 days in a row when the 2nd save comes at like 10 PM and the third is at 3PM the following day. In general I bet he'll do 3 in a row if his pitch counts stay low.
