Fukudome/Perkins for??

Postby wkpdpack » Tue Apr 28, 2009 11:29 pm

12 team keeper league, 5x5 standard roto scoring, limit 7 free moves (DL pickup are not a free move), keep 7 from year to year plus up to 5 minor leaguers (which is why I haven't moved up my minor leaguers-I figure if I don't have to I'll keep them on my minor league list to keep for next year). I would like to get another quality pitcher since I've got Blanton, Perkins, Baker and Millwood all of which are unpredictable. I'm thinking Hamilton will go on the DL, so I could pick one up from the free agent pool - Richmond, Uehara, Looper, Lannon, Ohlendorf. None of them excite me much so I figure a trade is best. I was thinking I could try and sell high on Fukudome and Perkins for a pitcher. Do you think I could get Lilly or Cain for that combo? What do you think I'd have to offer to get Vasquez or J. Johnson? Other pitchers I should target for the combo of Fukudome/Perkins?

Also, do I use my second free move to pick up either Uehara or S. Richmond and drop Blanton?

Lilly and Vasquez seems reachable if the other owner is interested. You would have to pay more for J.Johnson.

Thanks for your help with mine.

P - Richmond, Uehara, Looper, Bush, Ohlendorf, Lannon

Was thinking I'd use my 2nd of 7 free moves to drop Blanton and grab either Richmond or Uehara.

Hitters - Byrd, K. Morales, N. Johnson, Scutaro, Branyon, Andy LaRoche.

I also will get a free move if Hamilton goes on the DL. I'd probably replace Fukudome with Fowler to take advantage of his SB. If I did that I could then use my 2nd free move to grab Uehara and my DL move to grab Richmond. I'd still have Ad. LaRoche on my bench as a hitter.
