Should be an obvious answer, but.......WHIR!

Postby CrashDavisAllStars » Tue Apr 28, 2009 9:41 pm

Chris Young (Ariz) and Josh Anderson are both available in my league....I know Young is pretty miserable right now, but, since my line-up is relatively set for the time being, should I drop Gomez and Bourne and take a flyer on both Anderson and Young...As you can probably tell, I am getting hammered in SB and both provide this much needed stat, plus Young has SOOO MUCH talent - I almost hate to pass up on him...Both Bourne and Anderson are stealing bases right now, but Anderson is hitting for a higher average, which is something else I need.... Watcha think?

Bourne and Anderson are basically the same type of player. Bourne isn't anything special, but neither is Anderson IMO, but they'll give you SB. If you want to go with the hot player, you should probably pick up Anderson and drop Bourne.

Picking up Chris Young and dropping Gomez is a must IMO. Keep Young on your bench until he goes on a hot streak, which will happen at some point.

I'd definitely drop Gomez and grab Young. He's a streaky player and you can play him when he heats up. Gomez is nothing special. As for Bourn and Anderson...they'll only steal bases. I would only take one of them. Anderson is hot right now, but I'd probably stick with Bourn.
