Picked up McCann - can I trade away Posada?

Hey Folks

Some dude dropped Brian McCann. He is on the DL right now, but its just a vision issue and should be solved by getting new contacts. I am dropping Carlos Marmol for him.

My waiver number is #1, so I'll definitely get him.

Now, my question is, after I get him, what should I do with Posada? Should I package him up and try to trade him, or trade McCann? I have Escobar, but because of Rollins, I never start Escobar so I have lost out on his good start, so I could trade him as well.

But I'd just flat out release him. Based on your team, I don't think trading him would get you back anything really worthwhile to use? I'd actually probably just drop him for McCann and keep Marmol, and just pick up whatever C you can (whether that is Posada or not) until McCann is back.

I would grab McCann but also hold onto Posada until McCann is for sure healthy. I have a feeling his eyes might slow him down quite a bit, not sure how long it will take til he is back to his full potential. Then try and trade him when McCann does get back into the swing of things.

You can see if anyone is interested in Posada, but I'm betting you'll end up dropping him. Of course, I wouldn't trade him til McCann is back

Reynolds for McCann, McCann to DL (free spot add) post free agents (across board). Hang onto Posada who is a solid catcher and use him till you can FULLY trust Mac again.
