They want-

DO IT NOW! haha this is a great trade for you, you benefit on every level, Markakis>Hamilton, Victorino>Francouer, and Felix>Lowe, doesn't get much better than this, plus Markakis will have a career year!

I wouldn't go as far to say that Markakis is better than Hamilton. If you're using a three week sample size to determine that, it would be a mistake.

I hate giving up the best player, which I think you are doing, but you upgrade at both other positions enough to make it a worthwhile deal. I'd like to see the rest of your roster before giving a definitive yes/no answer, but on it's face it is an even trade.

Absolutely! Hami will have a few more HRs than Markakis, but your other two grabs are nice upgrades!

Looking at your roster now, IMO, I wouldn't do it. I know it is good value if you look at each player. However, after Teixiera, you don't any sources of power. If you get rid of Hamilton, you'll be taking a big hit in the HR and RBI departments - which are already pretty suspect. You have a lot of top-of-the-order players,

Thanks for your help and insight, Fade. I will try to get a better offer of a power guy for Hamilton
