Conor Jackson, the sub .200 avg can only go up.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

Half my team is mentioned in this thread :( Rollins/Delgado/D. Murphy/Bradley/Holliday... Thank god for pitching.

Here's to seeing an early May "bounce back" for A-Rod! (Hey, if Milton "I think I pulled something" Bradley can make the thread...)

theres a recent write up at rotoprofessor.com with the worst BABIP on the season..
Edwin Encarnacion - Cincinnati Reds - .163
Lance Berkman - Houston Astros - .167
Troy Tulowitzki - Colorado Rockies - .176
Carlos Quentin - Chicago White Sox - .184
Jason Varitek - Boston Red Sox - .184
Brandon Phillips - Cincinnati Reds - .189
J.J. Hardy - Milwaukee Brewers - .191
Jason Kendall - Milwaukee Brewers - .200
Kelly Johnson - Atlanta Braves - .204
Ken Griffey Jr. - Seattle Mariners - .205
Emmanuel Burriss - San Francisco Giants - .208
Jimmy Rollins - Philadelphia Phillies - .210
Alexei Ramirez - Chicago White Sox - .212
Conor Jackson - Arizona Diamondbacks - .212
Brian Giles - San Diego Padres - .212

based on being the worst BABIP all of these players should be better than they have been.

J35J wrote:Hell, May is the start of the season for most.....Seems alot of players come out of the gates in April hot or cold but things start to normalize once May rolls around. This is why most don't even start to question their players until mid May. The real thread should come after May or even June to see who will turn around their seasons in the second half. April doesn't really tell you a whole lot....similar to September numbers.

+1

Also, if you are looking for a "bounce back" you have to establish that your player is not playing through an injury.
Why does player X have no steal attempts/power?

Slowey's turnaround has already started. Two very good starts in a row: 15 IP, 14 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 12 K
