Hawpe took a pickoff throw from C to 2B in the back of the neck on Monday and was pulled from the game in a neck brace. Early word is that he is doing better, but no substantial details yet.

Sportsline reporting that it is just a contusion thankfully and Hawpe will be in uniform for tonights game although its highly unlikely he'll play, but it appears that he won't be missing much time at all...
