Oswalt for Ludwick? WHIR

I've been offered Ludwick and I give up Oswalt. Is this a good deal for me?

As much as a like Ludwick, I would stick with what you have. Your pitching is strong.

I'll go the other way...you don't need Oswalt and Ludwick will certainly outhit Matsui. Hopefully Smoltz comes back strong. I think you can drop Fatolo Colon now though...ugh.

I did, I forgot to change that in the roster... I picked up Scott Richmond. I guess I would slot Richmond in Oswalts place until Smolts comes back, or maybe put Franklin in to get some saves.

Any other opinions?

I agree with the second reply. You do it. Ludwick will kill Matsui in stats and your pitching is pretty strong and you won't notice too much of the loss of Oswalt by the time Smoltz is back. Heck, that could be like 3-4 starts out of Oswalt is all. Depending on matchups and whatnot, those stats might not even be that great. I say do it.

I would go through with this. Your staff is solid and you could use an upgrade at OF, Matsui just isn't pretty.
