Use #1 WW priority on Chris Davis [Tex-1B,3B]?? WHIR

In general I can use pitching more than batting, but my team is pretty awful right now. If I pick up Davis I might be able to work a trade for better pitching in the long run once he heats up. Its a daily league, so his multi-position eligibility is nice too.

12 Team Daily H2H, 6x6 w/ extras being OBP & QS

C- Sandoval
1B - Teixiera
2B - Cano
3B - Aramis Ramirez
SS - Rollins
OF - Hunter, Markakis, Hawpe, Choo, Kubel
Util - Scutaro, Branyan

SP - Beckett, Cain, Liriano, Shields, Volstad, Oswalt, Baker
RP - Qualls, Sherrill

Definitely do it. You could use an upgrade of your UTIL batters . :-*

agreed, do it, no doubt an improvement for your Utility spot, he will hit 30 HRs but hurt you with OBP (and i hope your league doesn't penalize for Ks)

Thanks guys. Is he really worthy of the #1 waiver spot, though?? Its a pretty smart league and I don't foresee a lot of studs being dropped due to impatience, but I want to make damn sure that I'm not blowing my load too early.

i dont see a better guy coming around if it's a 'smart league.' davis has great upside and can still have that .270 35 hr season people were expecting

30 hr 95-100 rbi .275 is more realistic

He'll clean up his swing and be a stud by the end of the year. Branyan won't last. I'd do it for sure. If it's a smart league, someone else will grab him if you don't.
