Pick up Hoffman?

I could drop Scott Downs for Hoffman right now, should I do this or should I hang on to Downs for now and try and package him with a player (maybe Mike Lowell) to get a better closer?

Obviously it's a good idea to pick up the Hoff but I'd keep Downs. Who knows how long BJ Ryan will be out, and Downs has been lights out all year. Is there anyone else you can drop?

Not really anyone else i can drop, my worst hitter is Polanco but then my only bench hitter would be Vlad (i have Webb and Vlad and only one DL spot, so i'm trying to stick it out with them) my other closers are Qualls and Bell, and my worst pitchers right now would be Nolasco, Slowey, and Baker.
so really no one else to drop

If Polanco is on your bench, then I would definitely drop him. If he's starting then i guess you're screwed (in more than one way).

No he's on my bench, but if I drop him i have no more bench hitters...
