A somewhat young pitcher to breakout, plus he had mental issues that took time away.

It's April. And Grienke has had good years before, but he has had a bad month or 2. Last year he still put up a 3.47 ERA in the AL with 187 Ks in 202.1 IP. You don't have to win the Cy Young award to break out. Grienke is an entirely different situation then Lince.

Ok but he is still going to be one of the best young pitchers in the game in the coming years, am I right?

I can see the comparison if you're looking at it in the sense of putting up a cy young season for one of the worst teams in the league. But if you're to compare track records then no. Greinke already had a breakout season last year and is just building on that. So it would not be surprising in the least bit to see him win 15-17 games and strikeout over 200 batters, with improved ratios. Maybe even competing for the cy young.

In my keeper league I had the perfect chance to get him for my Pedroia, Hawpe, and Iannetta for his Adam Jones, Greinke, and Jose Lopez and it freaking got vetoed. So ridiculous!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if he wins the AL Cy Young,

wow bcb: pretty ridiculous that your trade got vetoed. as to the OP's question, I sure as hell hope so, but let's wait for him to complete a greater body of work before we call him this year's lincecum. i can't wait to see him pitch in person, when the royals come to anaheim in a couple of weeks.
