Is there any reason for optimism about this start? Nolasco hasn't "found" himself yet, and goes on the road against a team that has done extremely well against him (even in his better times). He does face the crappy Livan Hernandez. And isn't Nolasco due? I just read an interview with him where Nolasco feels good about his mechanics since his last start, and has a really good feeling about this next start. Eh, I'm just grasping at straws aren't I? Still, I'm really tempted to start him in my one H2H league since I have a feeling I'll be needing "volume" this week.

I'd start him. The Mets lineup isn't exactly hitting on all cylinders these days. Delgado is out, I think and even though Anibal Sanchez gave up 6 runs in the first inning tonight, he dominated them the rest of the game. Even in that first inning, Sanchez had 2 strikes on pretty much every hitter and if it wasn't for a couple of bloopers, he'd be out of the inning with only 1 or 2 ER.

Anyway, it's a risky start though, but Nolasco is much better than he has shown this season.

I'm starting him, but I'm way behind on innings already (thank you, Brandon Webb!). The park seems to be a decent pitcher's park, so that helps some.

Of course, since I'm encouraging you to start him and I'm starting him myself, that probably means he's going to blow up. So do it at your own risk....
