I deseperately needed bp help as I am regularly starting Corpas (puke!) and Hanrahan (king of mediocracy). So I traded away a couple SPs for an elite SP and an elite Closer.
Here's my team now:
C- McCann/Suzuki 1B- Justin Morneau 2B - Ian Kinsler SS - JJ Hardy SS/2B - Brian Roberts 3B - Adrian Beltre OF - Matt Holliday, Grady Sizemore, Hunter Pence, Carlos Quentin, Raul Ibanez Util - Travis Hafner
SP - Billingsley, Peavy, Danks, Kershaw, Slowey, Wandy, Maholm RP - Pappelbon, Soria, Hanrahan, Corpas
What do you think? Will this move bite me in the ass in the end? I think Peavy will turn it around, Soria's health somewhat scares me, but then again, so does Gallardo. And I'm not a big fan of Shields' inconsistencies, especially on the road. You be the judge!

I'm kicking myself over for not picking up Mike Lowell on the waivers before someone else did. But still, you dont think Beltre will turn it around? I'm in second place in my league with McCann, Hardy, Beltre, and Holliday off to slow starts. Im lost in my roto league in saves, so Soria will help me greatly. So, it's not just based on the prospect of Peavy turning it around into a top 5 pitcher and Gallardo making his annual visit to the DL, its about Mr. Soria and his putting my bullpen on his back to get me more points in the saves category.
oh yea, and this trade is still pending. So I havent added anyone yet. I'm considering picking up either Mike Gonzalez, Rafael Soriano, Conor Jackson, Milton Bradley, Kelly Johnson, or Mark Reynolds (the only thing stopping me from picking him up is all the k's he'll hurt me with, plus a low batting average and I'm already dead last in that department). Which player do you think is most valuable to my team?
