Hawpe carted off field after hit in neck

Brad Hawpe was just carted off the field with a neck brace on. He was sitting up and alert but looked to be in a lot of pain. He was hit in the neck/head (right where your neck meets the back of the head) on a pick off play.

Just a heads up. Hopefully he is ok it was a rather weird spot to be hit. I'm not sure I've seen that before.

Im watching the game and they said they sent him to the hospital, they mentioned possible concussion..

I happened to turn the game on (after watching the Nuggets put a certified beat down on the Hornets ), and saw him down on the ground. I hope he's alright and isn't out for an extended period of time. Hawpe is a streaky hitter at times, but he is under appreciated in many circles, including by me at times.
