We'll see how this works out. I just dropped him in a 10 team league so of course now he's a starter
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

No way Tulo sits for more than 2 games, despite what Rotoworld says

Troy Tulowitzki was benched Monday and may not see playing time during the foreseeable future.
Tulowitzki is going back to the drawing board with the coaching staff. They will all work to help the shortstop break out of a season-long slump that has him batting .167 through 17 games. The team still has high hopes for its first round pick in 2005, which is why they'll take their time to work with him - meaning he won't return to the lineup until they feel he's ready. He shouldn't be on your fantasy squad anyway, but if he is, now is the time to drop him.

Rotoworld analysis is crap. This is just one way to get Stewart a few more at-bats while they're at Coors and Barmes is useful. Tulo will start all 3 games of the next series, bank on it.

As for saying he shouldn't be on your squad, that is kind of ridiculous considering pre-draft SS rankings. Especially for NL Only leagues.

Agreed. Advising owners to dump Tulo is some of the worst advice I've ever seen given from a "reputable" fantasy site.

I'm not sure if he's an easy drop like rotoworld says that he is (I think trade target to be honest).

I do find it ironic that the Hawpe and Stewart threads are next to each other on the leftovers page. At first I thought someone was excited about Hawpe being injured since Stewart would get full-time AB's. But it's just strange timing.

I agree with you guys. Worst advice I've heard in a long time. I'm a big believer in Tulo and think he'll be fine.

Yea, no way he gets dropped in any leagues with 10 plus teams. Benched for a week or two maybe, but not dropped

With Hawpe getting injured, isn't it possible that Stewart could see some time in the OF? I know that he has started in LF this year.

Yeah, in fact he's there now (they shifted him after the injury). If Hawpe sits tomorrow (likely), then either Seth Smith or Stewart will play in LF. As they're both lefties, there's no particular platoon advantage. They will probably decide to play Stewart @ 2B, Smith in LF, and Barmes at SS. But obviously they have the option to put Tulo right back in and either start Barmes/Smith or Stewart/Smith at 2B/LF.
