The guy is off to a huge start right now. His walk totals still aren't great, but they're a lot better than they were last year. His ERA and WHIP are both under 1.5 right now. Here to stay or sell high while you can?
I think you sell if you can but he's averaging <5K/9 right now (with around 4 BB/9). I don't see you selling particularly high unless your trade partner only looks at ERA (and a small sample size ERA at that). He's a solid pitcher (I like the GB's) but he's still a 3.75-4.00 ERA pitcher in my book.
JJ's components don't look too great just now, and I'd never count on him to be your team's source for Ks. But he can be a solid back-end fantasy pitcher if he starts walking people slightly less.

I think he is one of those pitchers who has more value in real life than he does in fantasy, But I'm glad to have him on both right now.

has Jurrjens been doing anything different this season? his deeper numbers arnt even that close to what they were last season. last season he had 6.64 K/9. this season only at 4.32 K/9. last season he was more of a ground ball pitcher with 51.5 GB%. this season hes only at 34.3 GB%. his FB rate last season was only 26.5%. this season hes up to 46.7%. why such a big difference in those numbers? and which is he more likely to be through this season? his ERA is nice, but he also has 84.1 LOB% so that ERA wont stay low.
i look at Jurrjens stats on yahoo. last game he started but only went 2 IP? im guessing rain? i dont own Jurrjens, but hes someone im looking into trading Vazquez and a lesser hitter for Jurrjens and a good hitter.
As said, Jurrjens is much better in real life than he is in fantasy. He gives up his share of baserunners but has a knack for getting out of jams. Doesn't give up alot of HR, but also doesn't strike out alot of people.
Since someone brought him up, Vazquez seems to be the opposite. Lots of strikeouts, not many baserunners, but he seems to give up HR and doesnt pitch as well with men on. Its amazing to see his lines where he gives up 6 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks. I wonder if he just doesnt pitch as well from the stretch?
