Ramirez (hand) was scratched from the Marlins lineup on Thursday, MLB.com reports.

Ramirez was expected to play Thursday in Chicago, but his injured right hand still felt sore. Thursday was the first time Ramirez tried swinging a bat since his hand was hit by a pitch on Monday. When asked how it was going, Ramirez replied: "Not good." There is still swelling in the hand/wrist area. Keep him marked day-to-day.
