John Lackey? Should I keep him or drop him?

Postby Tireur » Mon Apr 27, 2009 3:34 pm

I've had him stashed for a little while now. However with Vlad on the DL for me as well right now, I'm debating whether I should drop him for Edison Volquez who's sitting out in Free Agency land and move Vlad to DL.

Basically, is Lackey gonna be a stud when he gets back? If so, I'll just stash him for now and ride it out for another couple weeks.

What do you all think?

Volquez is on the waiver wire for a reason. You have held onto Lackey this long, give him a chance. Unless ou are desperate for pitching that is...

Picking up Volquez is a good move but NOT at the expense of Lackey.

Excellent, thanks guys! I actually picked up Lackey off the Waiver Wire about 2 weeks ago, hoping it works out well, especially around playoff time in our league.
