Shortly.

He could be up in May sometime.
If McLovin decides he needs a trip to the DL with his current problem, it could be sooner rather then later.

looks like there won't be a DL stint for McLovin, unless something else comes up coming back from the Oblique...

Rotowire.com April 27th...

"Manager John Russell says that McLouth (oblique) is "feeling better" but that he probably won't play on Monday, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Spin: Russell sounds as though he's hopeful that McLouth will be available sometime in the middle of the week. "It's coming around," Russell said. "But still a few things he can feel: coughing, he can feel it; the rotation [needed in hitting]. Probably [sit him just] a couple days as opposed to day to day." The upside for McLouth appears to be his playing in three or four games in Week 4. Pittsburgh plays three games in Milwaukee starting Monday and is off Thursday before returning home on Friday, where they'll host the Reds all weekend long."

so looks like mid-late week return for McLovin, if i had to call it tho i think unless they are in desperate need of a PH we won't see McLouth back in the lineup until Friday for the homestand against Cincy as he can still feel pain when he coughs and also in the rotation of his swing, Friday at the earliest giving him 8 days of rest...
