Who are you going to replace Wright with at 3rd?

You can slide Chris Davis to 3rd and play Paul Konerko at 1B, so the trade won't leave any holes... still, it doesn't look ideal. You would be downgrading at 2 positions (Davis to Konerko, Wright to Davis), and the jump from McLouth to Markakis isn't as much in comparison.

My first thought was "WOW...that's a good trade for the team getting Wright and McLouth"...so pass.
