Greinke/Ordonez for M. Cabrera? (WHIR)

Postby jweb2244 » Mon Apr 27, 2009 2:19 am

I am trying to get Miggy. Should I make this offer, and is it enough?

Don't think it's enough to get Miggy.

That's not going to do it, even with how good Greinke is at this point. Miggy is still far and away the best player in that possible deal.

It isn't enough...Cabrera is a top 5 or 6 player right now...

I doube it's enough as well. I mean, give it a try though. If by the slight chance it gets accepted, you're money!

Not sure what either of your teams looks like, so it's hard to say what this other guy needs or is looking for. Ordonez is not going to come close to replacing Cabrera's production.

Can you post both rosters?

I did not post rosters because it meets both teams needs: he put on Trading Block looking for pitching and outfield, and I need a 1B.

Follow up question: what if I added a middle grade closer (e.g. Franklin)?

I doubt this gets it done unless hes a huge Greinke fan. I think Ordonez is just too much of a downgrade on offense, particularly with Miggy's hot start.
