There is a guy in my keeper league trying to deal this guy and if I had a spot for him I would try and buy low on him because his value has dropped quite a bit.
This guy has great stuff, but he can't find the strike zone this year. I know that he struggled with this in the minors, but I think he will be better than Daniel Cabrera...I think.
Seriously what happened? He had pretty decent control most of the year. He wasn't Greg Maddux, but he had shown improvement. Hopefully this guy will pick it up.

I would expect his second half stats from last year most likely, the first half was very flukish. He is a guy I avoided this year and I'd rather draft Cueto where he was being taken than Volquez.♦
I think part of the reason he dances around the plate so much is because he's actually trying to rack up K's, which causes him to fall behind in counts and before you know it, walks the bases loaded. I wish he would have more confidence in his fastball and just put it in the strike zone.
2006 - Arroyo, very good, 2007 when I drafted him, sucked extremely bad. 2007 - Harang, very good, 2008 when I drafted him, sucked extremely bad. Lesson to be learned - never draft another Reds pitcher again.

Ok, thanks for letting us know. So since Harang has turned it around this season, Volquez will do it next season. Thanks for the protip.
